I loved my time at New Pokhara Lodge, not least because it was so safe and comfortable (especially as I’m a single traveller) but the service and friendliness were exceptional. I particularly liked the fact the room had a bath. The Lodge is in a really great part of town- tucked away, yet only minutes from the main area. The garden is heavenly, as is the view from the rooftop.

We are two couples from Israel who visited Nepal and stayed also in Pokhara. We want to recommend the New Pokhara Lodge in Pokhara. We stayed for more than an week and enjoyed every day. The services, the smiling faces and the help made our stay in Pokhara to a very pleasant and enjoying time. Over 20 month ago I left Scotland on a round the world bicycle tour. Since the start I have stayed in well over 500 different hotels, guest houses, hostels and other establishments (and also one bus shelter in England). Some of them have been extremely pleasant Places to stay. But I put New Pokhara Lodge at the top of my list. This is an excellent hotel. Both owners and staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. The location is ideal, being very close to lake and yet in its own secluded garden. The rooms are most comfortable and spotlessly clean. When I arrived I intended to stay two or three nights. In the end I have stayed four weeks.
I wish we could have found New Pokhara Lodge & stayed here first in Pokhara. This is small, comfortable, quiet & nice place. The staffs are very friendly. The another good thing was that we felt no pressure from the staff to do anything, or to go through them for anything like trekking & sightseeing. We will recommend our friends. Thank you for everything.
